The proposals for a new bakery for Speciality Breads at Manston Road has business aspirations to become the first bakery in the UK that’s working towards becoming net zero and in doing so create a sustainable building that is not just an inspiring place to work but a long term home, allowing the business to grow organically.
Our vision for Speciality Breads is to create a new ‘Bread Campus’, one that is dedicated to evolving the Art within Artisan baking and led by an infrastructure that is as creative as the products that are crafted within it.
Designed to support the future of artisan baking through architecture that is as carefully crafted as the products it creates.
A state of the art manufacturing facility that has a low environmental impact, whilst being future focussed, it is designed as a multi-layered assembly of creativity forming a playful language of spaces and surfaces.
